CIMBAT is very Proud to announce that we will now be booking for Florida Death Metal Masters MONSTROSITY!! MONSTROSITY has been one of the leaders of the US death metal scene since the early 90's with hundreds of shows worldwide and has a live show that is nothing short of brutality at its finest. We are now booking for their North American tour that will take place from July 1st-25th 2009. Package is as follows:

MONSTROSITY (FL)

THORNAFIRE (CHILE-1st Time in the USA)
TORN THE FUCK APART (MO)

This is sure to be one of the best tours of the summer!! Intrested parties wanting to book this tour in your area...Contact MATT BISHOP via the MYSPACE PAGE or email at mattcimbat@hotmail.com

MONSTROSITY founder/drummer Lee Harrison had this to say:

"We are eager to get back on the road and prove once again why MONSTROSITY is a force to be reckoned with. The band will be supporting the upcoming Spiritual Apocalypse DVD as well as the U.S. release of the Spiritual Apocalypse cd which is available now through Conquest Music Inc. (Metal Blade for Europe release). The Spiritual Apocalypse release is without a doubt the bands strongest to date and we want to make sure everyone has a chance to see us live supporting it. Also, we will focus on Millennium and Imperial Doom songs since there weren't too many of those tracks on the last few tours. Support will come from THORNAFIRE from Chile who are a promising new band and TORN THE FUCK APART (MO) whose moniker says it all."

We want to thank Matt Bishop and CIMBAT in advance for all of the hard work. Its not easy booking tours in this economy but we feel confident he will do a great job. We look forward to seeing everyone out on the road. Don't miss it!!"

skull 6.27.06 Update

Just to catch everyone up to date.... The Europe tour was killer. We had a great time and played all 33 shows of the tour without any show cancellations. Criss-crossing from one side of Europe to the other and then back again was definitely awesome. It was great meeting everyone and hope to get back there as soon as we wrap up the recording of the new record. We have been writing and things are coming along. We will be posting some pre-production demos of the new material on our myspace page soon so watch for that. Probably sooner than later so check it out!! If you still haven't seen the videos we have uploaded on our myspace page then check them out too because they are pretty cool also. One is from Brazil and the other is from Paris.

We are endorsed by Framus Amps and Warwick Bass amps now. They sent us some gear and the stuff sounds pretty cool. We've never been gear whores but we tried this stuff out and its pretty killer. Working on some drum endorsements as well....

We are announcing our appearance at the HELLFIRE MANIFEST this year in Huntsville Alabama on August 26th, 2006. We will be playing on Saturday alongside Hallows Eve, Hellwitch, Quinta Essentia, and more... (check out the flyer at www.hellfiremanifest.com) We are working on some other US shows as well so stayed tuned to our official site (www.monstrosity.us) as well as our myspace site (www.myspace.com/monstrosity1) for updates regarding the new album and upcoming shows. We've updated the merch page as well.

MONSTROSITY EUROPEAN TOUR ANNOUNCED

MONSTROSITY have announced the "Triumph In Black" European tour The tour consists of 33 shows within 33 days with stops in over 12 countries. Support will come from long standing California deathgrinders Deeds Of Flesh who did a full U.S./Canada tour with Monstrosity in 2002. Also on the trek will be underground killers Vile and Impaled.

33 shows in 33 days is a daunting task but thats just what the band hungers for. The band is known for being a touring juggernaut. The band have endured many ups and downs in their 15 year career. Label problems as well as numerous line up changes have occured but the intensity and savage approach of the band still remain intact. Alumni of the band include George "Corpsegrinder" Fisher, Pat O'brien, Rob Barrett, of Cannibal Corpse as well as Tony Norman from Morbid Angel/ Terrorizer who has now been officially replaced in Monstrosity by Mark English. The band also welcome to the fold new vocalist Brian Werner who will only add to the growing legacy. The band is rounded out by band leader/founder Lee Harrison on drums, guitarist Sam Molina and bassist Mike Poggione who happens to be featured in the bass corner segment of this months issue of Pit Magazine.

The band have a new page on myspace (www.myspace.com/monstrosity1) that features some unreleased versions of demo songs as well as an unreleased remix version of the song "Abysmal Gods". Also, there are postcards posted in the picture section documenting some of the bands travels. Check it out if you get the chance. A new interview with drummer Lee Harrison has been posted too.
